wut year is my B16 head
i have a pr3 B16 head it was on a B16A block i dont kno what year it is. i know its suppose to say the year on the head but the numbers on the head can not be the year. does anyone kno wut year a pr3 head is
It doesn't matter if it's PR3-1 or 2,3,or 4!!!!!
My 97' spec CTR head is PR3-1 and 98+PR3 heads can be -2,3,or4
All B16 and Type-R heads are PR3. Now to find the year look on the front of the head on the lower left hand just above the exhaust ports and there should be some double digit numbers that are upside down or sideways. The first two will tell you the manufactures date of that casting.
Some times it's covered by the factory headshield so you have to look closely. The numbers are also divided by a / so it should look like this (9/1)= 91'or (9/4)=94' ect.
