I drive a 92cx with a d16z6 swap. I drove to school this morning, and everything was normal; drove fine without issue. On my way back home it was still driving fine but at the end of 1st gear it sounded like the engine just quit. I put it neutral and rolled into an empty parking lot close by.

Under the hood everything seems fine; all the belts are okay. I called a friend and he couldn't find anything wrong either... so we headed home.

Could a bad alterantor or disributer cause this?

what do you think could be wrong?

 

does the car start if not what happens when you try to start it? Do you lights work?
