Default d series heads

I snaped my timing belt on my civic si and my valves are bent. Will any d series non vtec head work or do i have to use a d16a6 head. Basically i need to know if i can use a newer head and will my IM and exhaust manifold mount up correctly

all 88-00 sohc d-series head will physically bolt up. Pretty much any 16v non-vtec head (d15b7/d16y7/d15b2/d16a6) should work. I know for sure the d15b2 and a6 are the same head casting.

Intake manifold and Exhaust Manifold will be the same pattern and port arrangement.

Yeah, just find you a cheap DX head, and carry over your cam and get new si valve springs... A word of advice, use a head gasket for a 1995 Civic si. It's metal and clean up next time will be a snap. Good luck.

Wrong,
88-91 si/dx are different casting/ design than the newer ones
