Default 4th Gen Prelude Help....LEAK coming from trunk area

Like the title says i have a 93 prelude and my trunk is full of water which is going into my backseats when i am going down a hill. I gutted the whole trunk and i still cant find where the leak is coming from....Does anybody have any ideas or clues as to where a leak would come from?

Thanks

i dont think that it's the drain tubes because the top of it is all dry when i looked it it. But in the trunk where the left tail light and the right tail light is, it has a lot of water that eventually goes into the area where the spare is. It is not coming from the the tail light, but on the opposite of the tail.....If this is confusing anyone ill try and take pics.

I would imagine you might have a faulty seal on your spoiler. ( If you have one ) That can let a lot of fluid in. If not, I would pull the trunk seal off and inspect it for cracks and or chunks missing. LOL Had a small chunk missing from taking my sub box out so many times.

I have a 5th gen with the same problem but I cannot find the hoses...maybe 5th gens are different. I also get some water in the back seat. I've gutted the trunk and backseat until I can get the problem fixed because I wanna put in my system. The water isn't too bad but it sits in the spare tire well and the rear passenger seat.

Check the trunk seals that go around the outline of the trunk see if there all intact and everything if not then that could be your prob

Thanks Alot smackdown! Problem was easily solved. I pured a cup of water into the rails of my sunroof and a few seconds later, water was squirting out of that black drain tube you were talking about. I cleaned out the inside of the tube but there really wasn't much build up in there to cause clogging. The main deal is the rubber piece at the end that was clogged up with dirt and gooey white stuff that looked like seaman. I pulled that out on both sides of the car and cleaned them out with my finger. After that water flowed fine. I went ahead and cut the end bigger too just to save more time before I have to clean that sucker out again.

x2 drain tube I can't see it when I look by the sunroof.

car leaks and ends up at bottom of trunk.. I know the back window seal trim piece is cracked and barely hangin on.. think it's leaking in elsewhere.

help! interior smells bad nowadays

Hi
i have a problem similar to this, but i know is not the hoses being clogged up
it looks like the water comes from the sunroof itself, from that little thing where the water collects to be drained. this is on the rear right corner of my sunroof

anybody has any idea of what this is??

this is a honda factory recall, ive came across this before, mine too leaks but what i did was take the trunk cardboard/floormat, then take spare tires off, and right on the floor youll see two (2) circular rubber plugs/gaskets. take those two off BUT SAVE THEM, DONT LOOSE THEM! another option i did was a circular area near the spare tire holder(the tower that you bolt the spare tire bolt) on the northside is a plastic/metal looking hole plug and i just removed it because mine rusted already and just a little trace around it. that should solve the problem .............OR............

someone ask a honda dealer and what was done about this recall.
