anybody help me why does vtec jump

Default anybody help me why does vtec jump

i checkd eveything timming new vtec solenoid has oil but when im in vtec it will bug out i have a 00 civic si any advise on what it could be

does it kick in and out of vtec? if so it could be that the hole isn lined up in the vtec solenoid

other than that idk

if i stay in vtec for a while it will jump out and i have to turn off the car and it will start working

Any CELs? Do you have ENOUGH oil in the car..almost sounds like it gets starved out of oil.

yeah the car has enough oil i check all the time if i reset the ecu it will stop untill i stay in vtec for long time and im not sure what cel's are

ohhh yeah k if i reset thr ecu the cel will turn off but then the vtec jumps the cel will pop up and turn off untill i reset the ecu but if i turn the car off i could go in vtec with the cel on its kinda wierd i taken my car everywere to get fix and nobody could help me

i would pound it hard and everything would be fine until im hitting about 7k in 4th gear then the cel would come on and vtec goes bye bye

i sold the car and the person who bought it said the speed sensor was melted.......thats the only thing i can think of because i changed the dizzy, wires, wire harness, and ecu to try stop that problem. never worked but i didnt think to check the speed sensor....can someone tell me if that coulda been the problem?

this was a eg hatch gsr

also you could try getting a new vtec solenoid gasket (the one with the screen)
