Re: do EG's come with power windows?? (92integraVTECgsr)
I believe no hatchbacks sold in the US had power windows.
I BELIEVE. I thought the Si had power windows, a lot of other people told me I was wrong - so I'm going to say no 5th gen hatch's came with power windows.
I'm pretty sure (but not positive) that any 5th gen power windows will work.

LX was a sedan, right? So as long as we're talking about non-hb's the EX 4 door and 2 door has 'em, not sure if they're optional or not.

all you need is a 92-95 ex coupe, you take the door panels, window motor and asy, door harness, and switchs, and just plug in and play, it's not that hard good luck or you can just by 250 jdm door panels, and 150 jdm window motor and asy, switchs for you eg hb, but me as for me I would just go to the junk yard (like pick a part)

sorry, its not plug and play. in addition to the parts you listed you need a the fuse behind the underdash fuse box in black(from ex coupes), you also need the male plug on the firewall that goes on the female plug on the power window harness then run the lines from the under the dash to both doors...sorry i cannot do a write up because its been ages since i did my old hatchback...
search and im sure you will find a write up on it...sorry, NOT PLUG AND PLAY.

Re: (eg6sir-s)
I agree that it isn't a plug and play job. It took me a long time to get the power windows in my hatch to be functional while keeping everything oem.

Re: (eg6sir-s)
my bad, your right lol it's been a couple of years since I did it. but I do remmber just running a power wire to the wht and blk ing. wire. and just grounding it out, I did it to both sides. that's just the way I did it, but keep in mind that if you do it this way, you won't be able to open the pass. side window from the driver side good luck either way

Re: (Excel motor werks)
Wow.
I'm surprised somebody bumped this thread.
Be happy whoever it is that does and doesn't (I didn't read most of the thread again) that if you DON'T have power windows on a 12 year old car, you're LUCKY.
Yes, very lucky. I have pwr windows on my '95 EX and I ******* hate them.
They're slower than **** and bog like hell. I tried white lithium grease in the tracks and got nowhere. I hate them, I would so much rather have manual windows, but I'm really not about to do an power > manual windows conversion
EDIT:
This doesn't apply for all cars tho. My probe had auto windows and pulled the same **** ('94).
My Mercedes 300E though ('90) had power windows and that thing could crack ur dick off if u weren't careful.
I don't know what causes it and what doesn't. Quality of engineering I guess. Guess that's what differs a 15,000 dollar car from a 51 thousand dollar car .
