ABS light wont go out

Default ABS light wont go out

just a few question i bought the car about 2 months ago when i bought it the ABS light came on and wont go out when i start the car it isnt on though and doesnt come on until i drive for about a minute or so any suggestions??

Same.. Mine does this also.. Haven't really paid much attention to it though.. lol, My car sat for almost a year and after that I started to do this.. Dunno why... But my CEL also comes on after driving also, and I don't worry with it either.. Heh

Maybe someone can help you, but use the search feature, I believe I saw a thread like this in the past few days, I just didn't pay it any attention..

Mine has been on since I got the car, Oh well.. Loooks kinda cool.. I just tell me people it means my ABS is working, lmao!

ha well i guess it means my abs is working to haha but to be honest i think its just a bad sensor

check your master cylinder, typically around 65,000 - 88,000 miles it'll die

I had this happen to 92 with 4WS, it was a bad rear speed sensor, the ABS light would come on shortly after driving it, my car only has 40,000 miles on it, but I guess age played a role in the sensor going bad. Cost around $225 to get it fixed at my local dealership!!

lol my was on sense i bought it and still on, dont know why, but does the ABS system still works if its on?

i locked up all 4 the other day

a bad wheel bearring can cause abs light to go on too. if the wheel bearring is bad you should be able to hear it grinding while you are driving.

lol...mine to...when i put new wheel studs...and bearings...i noticed the sensor where the brake line there is an abs..sensor i believe....and it was cracked in half and i think thats why my light is on..

i had my 96 Si / AT H23 checked at honda this weekend - they say bad abs pump motor - and wanted $1700 to fix - i told them "that must be what keeps the lights on at this place (the honda dealer) lmao

get the code from your abs computer and then take it from there
