How Do i tell if its a REAL B18C5
i was looking at purchasing this motor it looks to be real but i dont want to pay for something then turn out its fake any ways the block says B18C5 and the intake manifold has a p73 code and i took the valve cover off and it has dual valve springs but idk if the tranny is lsd and also i see the code p72 by where the tranny bolts up on the back side of the motor is that correct or is that a gsr well what other ways can you tell to make sure its authetic and what is a fair market value for it ?

yeah i heard about the green paint but its small but its the same as my other type r motor lol im glad all the blocks say p72 had me worried it was a fake is there anything else to tell if its real

if engine is stolen the system put STOLEN on teh vin so if you get rolled and they run your vin they impound your car. Thats why when i did my swap i had a officer come to my house run the vin on the motor so if i got rolled all i had to do was show proof of purchase of the motor and he couldnt do jack
