Yet Again: Good deal on EG hatch?
Yes, I'm posting another thread like this. Here it goes:
There's a girl around selling a 93 CX hatch that's been hit in the front. 5-speed manual /w AC, and just over 101k miles. According to the girl, it needs a hood, fenders, headlights, core support, and radiator. I'm also willing to bet that the condensor got hit, too. She's asking $1000 for the car.
Now, if this car has a salvage title, I'm guessing it's probably worth half her asking price. But, if it's still clear, what would this car be worth in good shape? I work at a body shop, so I can get parts at wholesale, and I can paint it for the cost of materials.
Do you guys think that this is a worthy fixer, or would I be tossing my money away? Keep in mind that I don't mind driving something that's been hit if I know it was repairerd correctly.
Thanks!

if its only body damage and the motor is still fine and everything else is ok i would say 1000 is a pretty decent price as long as its not a salvage title. if it is then im not really sure what its worth, i dont have too much experience dealing with salvage title cars.
I would go for it, especially if you work at a body shop. You can paint it for the cost of material and i know on hmotorsonline they sell the whole EG front end for 500 + shipping (Hood, Fenders w/ sidemarkers, headlights, corner lamps and bumper)
Wow, thanks for the quick responses guys.
According to the seller, the engine is unharmed, other than the radiator damage. She didn't specify the condition of the title in her ad, so I emailed her about it.

i picked one up that needed the same stuff but i paid $300 for the car with a clean title. Id take a look and it and do some research on it. Dont wanna get caught up in a headache
