squeaky noise when clutch engages

Default squeaky noise when clutch engages

i recently have been getting a squeak when clutch engages. it sounds almost like a break squeaking. any clue what it is?

This is actually an issue that many itr owners have experienced in the past.
You may try looking for more details by searching archives.

Basically for me it was two different things. First the noise was coming from the bottom of the clutch pedal. Theres a spring that needed to be lubricated and once it was lubricated the noise was gone. After a while longer the noise came back but this time it wasnt that spring, it actually sounded like it was coming from the engine bay but i could still hearing it while driving. The problem was fixed by the dealer for me. The tech told me it was the throw out bearing.

No problems or noise ever since.

Clutch slave cylinder is where the noise typically comes from... Not a problem, it's just a tad annoying. Turn up the music.

yea mine is squeeky, sometimes alot worse that others (I think it depends on the humidity/weather on how bad it gets). Lube may fix it temp but it always comes back !

Mine sometime squeeks and sometimes creeks like a wrinkly old man.
The noise comes and goes depending on the weather and the tidal force of the moon.

it only squeaks while releasing clutch in gear, but if you put it in neutral and pump the clutches theres no squeak. thanks, i'll check it out

Look at this photo. Theres a rubber boot where I circled. Try spraying some lubricant in there. That fixed it for me
