Removed head, do i need to do a valve adjustment and adjust the timing?
just like the title says, removed the head to install arp head studs, new timing belt, pump and tensionor, cap and rotor. do i need to do a valve adjustment and re- adjust the timing?
You might as well do the valve adjustment while it is easy to get to the valves.
Shoudn't have to time it if you marked were the distributor was originally.
Did you get a new head gasket?

valve adjustment...might as well, but you have to reinstall the head first (cannot do it off the car)</TD></TR></TABLE>
Everythings back together, waiting till the weekend to swap it in.
