I was always under the impression that they would not since alot of the JDM trannys have 1/2 shafts. I recently did a b16 swap on a 93 hatch and the USDM axles will not fit. I had to order new ones and just use the 1/2 shaft that came with the JDM motor and tranny.

My old motor had one long axle on the drivers side.
