my car has been cutting off on me then when it does it makes a hissing noise and then a carbon like smell comes in the car .......but i could never get a check engine light now it comes on last night....check the ecu check today and bam.............code 3 and then following that code 14.......i know the 14 is EACV but what is the code 3 would it happen to be a map and is so which one

yeah code three is map (manifold absolute presure). and 14 is iac (idle air control) next time just do a google search they pop rite up. jus for future ref.
