No.However its highly recommended that you turn off the HIDs since youll need a lot of power from the battery to power the turbos.HIDs suck the energy and will make you run lean.This is known as limp mode.

Make sure you tell your Buddy to Change his Vtech Fluids before he installs the Turbo's.
The Vtech fluid works with the turbo, to make more oil pressure and less turbo lag, for the vtech

dont forget too add more blinker fluid when you turbo it.....
Since the turbo sits so close to the headlights and blinkers you have to frequently add fluid to prevent it from drying out!

This is true, He might want to get the AEM EMS piggy back v-tech controllers to, to control the vtec levels and turbo lag, You dont want to blow your crankshaft Bearing
I know alot of vtechs and honda racing, and turbo's, I have my built race car on ebay right now.. Its all custom with Intercooler intake FTW
