CD5 rotors pads and wheel bearings?
ok i have a 95 2.2 lx and i want to change out the rotors and pads. what is a good brand to get? i was looking around and i saw pads that are organic semi-metallic etc. whats the diff which one will produces less break dust.
Also it is my understanding that to get to the rotors you need 2 remove the wheel bearings. im not sure how it works but i have OE bearings and i was thinking that since they are 12 year old bearings i should just buy new ones. Has anyone tried aftermarket bearings? should i go OE?

The bearings are pressed into the hub... you have to replace the hob to replace the bearings. Also the front rotors are pressed on, so you will need a shop press for them.

no, the hub is pressed into the bearing and you don't need to replace the hub to replace the bearings. You do need to press the hub out of the bearing and into the new one but not replace the hub.
The rotors aren't pressed on either. The rotors are bolted on but in a hub-over-rotor fashion so it requires more work than usuall. You need to loosen the axle nut, pop the lower balljoint and remove the axle. Then remove the four bolts on the back of the knuckle and the bearing/rotor/hub assembly should fall away from the knuckle. Then just unbolt the four bolts holding the rotor to the hub and replace the rotor, then reassemble in reverse. Now sometimes the bearing can be really rusted into the knuckle, some hammering may loosen it, but if not, then you may need a press to break it free, but it's not pressed in there, just sometimes gets really rusted.
I vote for Brembo blanks and a pad that matches the driving conditions the car with be seeing.
Also, check out the Accord FAQ on more info on how to replace the front brakes on 90-97 Accords.

thanks a lot i already checked the stickey. i will be doing point a to point b driving. im pressed on time becaus ei have 2 jobs as soon as i leave one job i have 2 be in the next within an hour so i drive fast and brake fast also. what do u recomend for pads? also the bearings are good they dont make noise and they dont have any play in them. should i replace them or wait til they give out?

If you should replace the bearings or not is your call. I replaced mine with OEM bearings when I did my brake job. If the bearings aren't making any noise and aren't loose, then you should be fine.
On my 95 EX, I put Brembo blanks on all four corners and used a carbon-metallic brake pads from AutoZone. It had a lifetime warranty and cost about 70 for the front and 50 for the rear. They were very nice for the time that I had the car. Didn't fade, didn't dust much, didn't appear to be too harsh on the rotors, overall a good pad I think for daily driving. I never autox'd or anything so I can't tell you how they would hold up under those conditions.
