Default Probe H-Beams wtf?

So I just ordered my P29s and I pulled my Probe H-Beams out of spider webs where they waited for some pistons to be mounted to, anyways.....I was eyeballin stuff up and turns out the S.E. width is too big for the piston, has anyone encountered this problem before??? Also, I wanted to know if you still need to notch the block for Probe rods..i know u do for eagles...

thats not even the bushing, thats all part of the casting that you can see in the picture...ill probably just take the rods to the shop and cut em down on the mill but i just wanted to know if this is something anyone encountered before?

there is no bushings in side the engine. but i guess you would have to go get it milled down to have it fit.

well yea, technically they call em bronze bushing inserts in the pin end of the rod....but anyways...i don't really see any other option, but does anyone know the answer to the notching the block question?

I'm thinking if you mill the actual rods down its going to hurt the balance of the rod. When i was putting together my buddys ls/vtec, he used p73 pistons with the ls rods, and we encountered the same thing. The machine shop i'm pretty sure milled the inside of piston. i could be wrong but sounds legible

well i was thinkin i'd mill each piston to where it fits with a little bit of play like a stock setup...and then throw each on on a scale and remove some material until i get em within a reasonable amount...our scales are accurate to 1/100,000th of a gram so that whould be good enough haha but usually at that point airflow will cause the scale to fluctuate
