im not really good with this stuff but isnt chrome for tuning? so im gonna guess it will run the car(if its the right ecu for the engine) but might not run it very well. an example.. maybe the ecu is programed for running a turbo.

for an ls swap...i bought the p06 of a friend of mine who had it lying around n he told me it was chiped n tuned with chrome....i think he ran a stock single with it n then chaged to a p28 when he did his ls/vtec in order tu run vtec....n i was converting my rex to obd1 so i needed an obd1 ecu anyway n he gave me a good deal. my question is, if people use p28s which come on d16z6's tu run gsr's n ls/vtec set ups n so on, would it be an issue if i used this p06 which came out of a d15b7 to run an ls?

yes it would be an issue, unless ur ecu which is supposed to run a single cam motor has been chipped to run a dohc motor. i believe its mainly done to bypass the knock sensor sincse P28's dont require a knock sensor.

You will need to get it reprogramed to LS Specs.. Most anyone can do it w/ a burner I can send you a new chip with proper maps cheap if ya cant find anyone local

If it hasn't already, the ECU has to be reprogrammed through Crome with a PR4, P74, or P75 program to run properly.
