Default CTR cams...worth the money??

Right now the current motor is ...roughly...

b18b 81mm bore
resized LS rods w/arp bolts
PR3 pistons
stock b16 head

I was wondering if its worth the $400-450 to upgrade to the CTR cams power wise...or should i stick with stock b16 cams? Car is a daily driver and id like to make more power between 2-7krpm

well thats exactly what i was breaking it down to...i really didnt have to upgrade the vavletrain much just the intake springs VS. me spending 3-400 more on upgraded springs/retainers..which i couldnt see spending about a grand on cam upgrade for 20hp...

They go for a less price than 400.

JUST MAKE SURE YOU RESEARCH ON HOW TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CTR CAMS AND B17 AND OTHER B-SERIES CAMS.

I've seen this happen too many times. I even got duped as well.
