amp fuse question
yesterday i installed a directed electronics 800watt amp to dual 12" subs. It was one of those prefitted things so subs and amp mounted to enclosure. Its wired to the battery, then in about 6-8 inches of wire there is a thirty amp fuse then it continues throughout the car to the amp. Everything i used came with the kit. Everything worked fine yesterday just about all day. Last night i went to turn on my car, then the radio turned on and the 30a fuse blew. I figured it was no big deal just a fuse. I bought more fuses today and same thing i turn on the car and when the radio turns on the fuse is shot. I noticed a pop from the speakers rite before it blew the last time. I reconnected everything made sure everything is connected and it is.
Now im out of fuses and ideas. help?
radio and full set of speakers are brand new pioneer that still work fine if that helps

What is the model number of the amp, an 800W amp would need a 125A, [approx.] fuse, even if that is max power and it is a 400W RMS amp you would still need about about a 60A fuse.
My guess is you have blown the outputs of the amp, they are now shorted to ground, [fuse blows as soon as amp comes on].
Let me ask you this, what size is/are the fuse(s) in the amp?
What gauge is the power and ground lead you are using?
Where and how is the amp grounded. and how long is the ground lead?
Do as wrx-killer=Sti eater suggests, disconnect the amps speaker outputs, [take the speaker wires off the amp] and try the amp again, if it still blows thew fuse the amp is damaged and will have to be repaired.
If fuse does not blow, check the subs, one or both of them may be blown, or there may be a short in the wiring between the amp and the subs.
