fuse blew on amp...
i checked my amp and noticed the fuses blew..so i bought replacements and when i touched it against the socket for the fuse, it blew. what does it mean? take out power then fuse it, then power it back up?
Could be 2 small of a fuse. What size is the amp (watts/channels)? What is it pushing and how are the speakers hooked up (series/bridged)?
Is the amp getting pwr? Have you checked the fuse under the hood on the pwr wire of the amp near the battery? And what size is that fuse?
Is it doing that with the car turned on, cranked up, and/or off?
