Default problem with my 94 accord need some help

I have a 94 Accord ex my d4 light on shifter started flash, miles per hour needle going up and down sometimes when im at a stop and start accelerating i feel the transmission not shifting or feel to much acceleration for it to go anywhere.
someone suggested it was an ignition switch, can that be the problem?

You can use the service Check connector to get a 'D4' flash code;

When the 'D4' lite is on the trans control unit goes into a 'limp home' mode that makes it shift in a goofy manner.
Repost the code for more diagnostic help.

I'm trying to help you, but only YOU can go and check to see what the code is.

I'll be more than happy to help you with further diagnostics; but need the code to help you any further.

Is it 4 long & 9 short? That's code 49 which doesn't exist in my list. (But my list isn't for '94.)

Is it 4 short, long pause, 9 more short? That's code 4 along with code 9.

Code '49' isn't in the book for 94 accords. code '4' is Crankshaft position sensor, and code '9' is cylinder position sensor.
