NEW PICS FURTHER DOWN THIS PAGE
Something is definitely not right after viewing a couple other TSX retrofitted threads on HIDplanet (HDP). I've posted the pictures on HDP asking for help. I'll go ahead and post them here too.
--2006 Honda Accord LX sedan
--Hella GEN 3 ballast and bulbs (purchased from HDP)
--TSX retrofit in OEM housings
Here are some pics from last night:
1. Up against a wall from 25 feet:

2. Dark road:

3. View from further back:

4. View from directly in front of the headlights / center of bumper:

5. View of the housing:

It seems like the cutoff on the ground (guess that is what it's called) is not out far enough. I measured the ground cutoff when I got home. The passenger side was about at 50 feet and the drivers was about 35 feet. The uneven ledge from each light doesn't feel right. Also, in pic #4 you can see a duplicate cutoff just not as bright that is just past where the asphalt ends. It's an exact replica of the bright cutoff just not nearly as bright and really about worthless. The only real light I am getting seems to be just in front of the car
Thanks for any input

I read the cutoff is supposed to be 2.1-2.5" lower than the stock headlamp. I adjusted the drivers side to that from 25 feet. I need to figure out how to properly aim these. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!

you aim them just like oem equipment
put the phillips in the headlight and turn
its in your manual
my retrofit is built to the reflector so you can still aim up and down

what he said ^
look at cutoff I marked in red

you need to adj one light upward
& maybe adjust them left to right... as the 2 steps (from internal shield should be 3-4 ft apart

No color mod. Just wanted OEM HIDS w/o spending 30k on a car
6SPD_EK - Is my drivers side cutoff just as low. It looks like it may be even with the bottom of the glass on the door when looking just right of the door.
Thanks for the input!!

first and foremost, you need to find a perfectly level or close to level place to aim
try someplace like a parking garage after-hours
and yeah, it appears your passenger side beam is wayyy too low
the top 'steps' of both your cutoffs should 2 inches below the measured distance 'from the ground to the center of your headlights' from 25 feet, and the horizontal placement of the beginning of the 'steps' should not waver at all from 25 feet (should remain the same distance appart as the projectors on your headlights)

your on HDP and didn't get what i mean. i thought you did the color mod on the tsx projo's because there is more blue rather than a sharper cut off.

I know about using the washers to change the color. I also know the cutoff can be distorted with this mod. I just wanted OEM HIDS (nothing more, nothing less).
I raised the passenger light up and also the drivers a little. I did this close to home and on the way back 1 of the 2 cars flashed me at a close distance. So, I went out in the garage a couple minutes ago and lowered the driver light. I'll take the scredriver with me today just in case I get the same thing on the way home tonight
