Yes, but you'll need to use the 5th gen brackets. I haven't done it myself, but I've seen plenty of people who have.

the connector needs a adaptor to fit. but that look easy, im sure i will be able to find a adapter to fit it.

my main concern is the 5th gen bracket does not bolt up onto the 6th gen deck, can any one link me to directions?

I don't remember anything about the threads... I just remember that over the years I've seen a few different 5th gen interiors with 6th gen decks.

I've got my 6th gen's OEM double-din CD player sitting in the closet... If you want to take any measurements of where the brackets mount to the 5th gen deck, I can compare them to my stock radio.

i have the 6th gen deck sitting right in front of me, and i have comapred it to my 5th gens deck. the thing about the bracket is there isnt any holes to mount it to since the 5th gen bracket mounts on the back and the 6th gen mounts on the side. i dont think i can drill holes into it and i dont have access to a welder. so im considering maybe JB welding it on there.

and as far as the harness adaptor do you know the sizes of the two decks? im a n00b when it comes to audio and electronics so i really have no idea what kind of harness adaptor i am looking for.

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking about here...

the 'plug' for the wires into the back of the deck is different between the 5th and 6th gens

Yes, I know... you confused me when you asked for the sizes of the deck.

Anyway, there's not exactly a "size" to the plugs. The shape is slightly different, and the pins are probably placed in slightly different places. Either way, they're simply labeled as "for 90-97 Accords" or "98 and up Accords".

You'll want to use the plug that fits in the deck you're using. Then take the wires from it, and figure out which wires that led to the old deck match up. The colored pairs should be the speaker wires, then there's your constant power, ignition power, and ground wires. Ground should be black and red and white should be constant and ignition power, I believe. Don't quote me on that though, I haven't changed out a deck in a while.

Yes. But I wouldn't bother soldering it, you can use butt connectors and crimp them, that works fine and is a lot quicker and less hassle.
