Default what do you think of these pistons with some jun 3's

what kind of power figures are we looking at, with a 01 itr with mugen header, exhaust, carsound cat, ATS final, toda flywheel, and exedy clutch (oh yeah drop in filter)

With these pistons and jun 3's and a tuned ECU, what type of power at the wheels are we looking at

12.5:1 compression ratio, JUN/Cosworth pistons

I'm confused....those are JUN's or Cosworth's or are they the same thing. JUN makes those or Cosworth makes those?

I believe Cosworth makes pistons for Jun.

I've heard of this from a retailer of JUn prods, cool guy but he didn't want to tell me the company that makes them. He told me all I would be doing is paying for there name, but that's it no mo details. I would mind getting me a set.

can I run pump gas with 12.5:1 compression?

I read somewhere that Cosworth makes JUN pistons. I believe they're made in England. Not sure though. They look sweet..

Holy Compression Ratio, Batman! Is 12.5:1 even streetable with shitty SoCal Petrol (91 r+m/2)?

Is there anything one can do to the head that reduces CR? Opening up comustion chambers or the like?

With those pistons, you would end up with a set-up requiering very good tuning. You should not have to modify the valve train because of the pistons but because of the more aggressive camshafts.
12.5 CR is getting border line to run pump gas IMO.
From what I have seen of the Jun camshafts, I would think you'll get around 215 WHP

Not without a few noises! I think 11.5 is as high as you should take it here in SoCal.

You should remove the link in your first post if you're really interested in them.

Someone may beat you to the punch.

Those pistons are low compression and VERY OVERPRICED.

hey fooo!!!!
its basically the same setup I have in my car you heard it man the switchover the idle
Im running the 12.5s but the Jun/Cosworths I think are slightly lower judgeing by the fact that the dome isnt a point like mine are
get them you wont regret it
and itll work with Jun3s
designed as a package
you will need valvesprings and retainers for the cams tho
and an ECU to make it run **** and ***
and if u get a Jun proggy you wont have the wonderful vtec flutter
that every other proggy gives at switchover
I love my setup
and it pulls mad but cant wait to dyno

Do you mean that 12.5:1 CR is not considered "high compression" or do you mean that these pistons do not raise compression to 12.5:1 ?
