x2
but to answeer your questions alot of companys make universal heat shield to go over your bumper protecting it from exhaust heat, i guess it can be used to double as a 'carbon shield' but it would look pretty stupid on anything other then a race car
qutoed from SCC "putting a heat shield on your bumper to prevent a fire makes you a ricer. putting a heat shield on your bumper to prevent a SECOND bumper fire makes you a badd ***" haha

well i guess until you get the car running not as rich all you can do is just make sure that spot is extra waxed then the rest of the car so that it wont start caking onto it. and if after all that it still has hella soot then just use some sheet metal heat it up and bend it to the shape
when i bought my 5zigen exhaust a few years ago it came with a large decal, that was almost like thick tinfoil that had adhesive on one side i guess was supposed to be a sheild, you could try something like that

my greddy decal would look so bad, i would rather use electrical tape than that.
does anyone have a link to a universal shield. as dumb as it sounds im having trouble finding them online.

google is your friend...because i am too lazy to look it up, but i have seen them in magaiznes before so i know they exist somewhere. but i mean, if you want a qucik and cheak fix used 3M painter's "blue" tape, wont leave residue and is durable. sure it'll look funnym but if your planning to fix the prob soon just put up with it.

no problem, just hurry and get up your problem fixed. no body likes somebody whos contributing to globabal warming (i have enterned a tree hugging phase)
...good luck on tuning your CL, since not alot of parts are avaible for it.

actually anything made for your car is made for my car. every powertrain/suspension part i order is for a 94-97 Accord.
but i think im gonna use some sort of black tape and make it look clean as i could possibly make it. if thats possible. it will only be temporary and like i said ive seen many ppl do it.
