hello everyone.

i got a spare b serise 62mm tb without a tps. i was bored today so i checked if it fits the d manifold in my car, and it did.

do you think its worth the $ to get a new\used tps or maby to use the one from the older one and rock the b tb? for maby a few horses?

btw, the engine is a turbo'd D14! not a D16!

ok so i decided im gonna do it.

on the right:my current tb is a obd2 the one that comes with the 3 wire iacv on it.
the on the TB iacv port is plugged with a plate, because i have a z6 manifold with a obd1 iacv now. (i did a obd1 swap)

left:the b16 TB that i want to use is a obd1 with a fitv on it.
will it be ok if ill make a blocking plate for it? cause i dont have a fitv on my car now...

 

yes, i block off the fitv all the time, those things are a honda headache. most idle problems are caused by it...
