Default tutorial on aftermarket h/u install for 96-98 hatch!!

anyone know how i put my aftermarket headunit into my new hatch? thanks!

you need to take off all of the dash plastic: armrest console, front console, glove box, plastic under the radio, plastic under the steering wheel. then you need to take out the radio and fit the new unit in, get a manual, or go online to find out which wires to connect where. then put the new unit in and make sure you have the power and ground hooked up right or you will blow a fuse. im pretty sure thats everything i had to do, but dont take my word for it. other suggestions will help too. gl

go to carstereo.com for the wiring diagram. but its pretty to understand. look for the wires that come in pairs those are your speaker wires.
