Hey guys so heres my question for the day. Do any of you guys have any cool exhausts on your cars? I have just an OBX on my turbocoupe but i hate the look of the fart can muffler. I was thinking about getting a magnaflow round muffler and putting it where the resonator would be, but i dont know how the rear end would look with just a chrome tip. Any ideas?

 

With a setup such as that, you won't get a whole lot of noise reduction, since the muffler will need to be relatively compact to fit in that location. The turbo will help to reduce noise as well, but it will still likely be rather loud. The advantage to such a setup would be the reduction of weight near the rear bumper, which would serve to improve handling (though perhaps not a very perceptible amount), by reducing the polar moment of inertia.

 

Its not really the noise i am concerned about, with the turbo its got a nice sound perhaps a little loud, but tolerable. What my concern in the looks on the rear end...the fart cans are ugly...and with my setup it spits a bit of carbon out so i need a pipe that will go out enough to get that junk away from my rear bumper
