Anyone using PIC coilovers? For DC2
Raises hand...
DC2 ITR Racer here.
Yeah, I had Al and Jim (PIC big-shots) build me a custom set. Those guys are great to work with.
The coilovers are real NICE. The PIC's are heavy duty, great materials, fine workmanship and very good performance. The PIC's are 100% better than the Tein RA (Big $$$) junk I had before.
The best part... you can call and talk with Al or Jim anytime! They are both very hands on and provide a lot of support.
PIC isn't well known now, but they'll be a major player in the future.
to PIC
I've seen some of his reviews on them.
Im currently planted on Zeals S6s which I think are a great coilover. I just think I would like to try something new

Then click on "shock dyno"...tried posting a direct link but i suck at doing things like that lol
They have different dynos for different cars...i'm just assuming this is the one you'd care about

Almost every coilover i've driven on rebounds like 4 ryu's from streetfighter was doing uppercuts randomly at each wheel. PIC's make me happy.
PIC....very knowledgeable, helpful and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
You won't find that anywhere...
and I use their stuff....on the way to 15 first place's in 2006

You don't need 4 ryu's....you can have ryu, ken, akuma, and evil ryu at each wheel

I am a PIC Authorized Dealer in FL and have run them on all my cars and customer cars they are great! Al and Jim give you real customer service I highy recomend thier products.
I have a set on my EJ1. I still daily drive it with track days here and there when my wschedule and budget allow. The set I have has been on the car now for two years and nothing is showing any signs of wear and tear. Al and Jim came down for my first track event on the suspension back in 2005 and helped with settingsa and everything else. Awesome customer service and top notch product for sure.

My vehicle is not a fully dedicated track car either so the spring rates are a little soft for track only duty. Between this and my old setup it is night and day and still being able to daily drive it with full control and not pounding the crap out of my kidneys... Perfect for me right now.

If i remember correctly, you were on some old khumo r comps, and being the first time with that suspension, and the first time I had ever heard of PIC suspension, I was not disappointed on a street car for that fact!
When i took it out for a few laps, it was pretty quick in the corners.

Indeed. They are the FIRST set to roll off the production line if I recall correctly from Jim and Al. There was some learning to be had by me since it was a new suspension and was installed that week for that event. The tires were a used set of Victoracers as well.

Sweet! Hope to see you at some future events.
