Default turbo or motor swap

d16z6 190000 miles but it still runs strong and little to no smoke not much valve noise that i can hear just drinks oil as all hondas do.......

my question is you think that motor would hold together at about 6psi....... or should i just do a swap.... i mean i want this to stay a daily driver and pretty realiable but i understand there will be a couple bugs to workout either way i go.... but im not looking to be the fastest around either just faster than some

thanks for any opinions

Usually you're better off rating things by a HP gain, not a PSI. Though in the general scheme of things 6psi isn't a whole lot. As long as it's tuned you'll be fine. I would just change the timing belt as honda/acura uses interference engines (as far as I know) and possibly the headgasket/mill the head. Though that second part is up to you, if it's not smoking, why screw with it. Though I'd definitely change the tb, even if you changed it 20k ago or something.

Do it, turbo D ftw
