Tach removed, car won't start anymore.
.. k first of all this will sound stupid, lol.
I'll get straight to what had happened. I was talking to my friends about how I wanted to get rid of the tachometer that had came with the car when I purchased it. I told them I'd get to it when the weather gets nicer. So while I went to grab some food, they cut the wire for the tach, and listen to this, the car was still running! Now my car won't start. There's power still, it cranks.
I did some searches about how the tach is installed, and it seems like the wires are basically spliced into others. So I thought to myself, why the hell would my car not start just because we cut the tach wires. Does anyone have any ideas of how the wiring was hooked up by the previous owner?
Is there something I can do to get my car running? Maybe a fuse blown? My last resort is to actually reconnect the tach, but the wire slipped into the side of the dash which means I gotta take it apart or get under there somehow.
Thanks.
