Default B16a ECU wiring???

Hey guy Just finish my swap (B16a into 90 civic si) wondering about the ECU wiring? On the ECU plug A8 (V-tec) I have a stock wire there. It's suppose to be nothing there but my has a wire. I also checked my friends same car with stock motor and his car didn't have the wire there. So far I unplug it and tap the v-tec in. Haven't run the car yet. Is it ok to unplug that wire? Wondering if anyone else have these problem? thanks

from what i remember you're supposed to do that. i can't remember exactly what it is w/out my notes, but i think it may be something for an automatic civic.
