Default B16A wiring into a 90 Integra

My understanding is that pin A8 on the ECU should be blank and that all I need to do is insert a pin there. A8 on my car is used. Has anyone else run into this?

Your A8 pinout should be empty. Adding a wire with pin at A8 would then go to the VTEC Solenoid on the motor.

Isn't A8 the lock-up solenoid, if you have A/T?
I gotta check my helms.

a8 is vtec.. if there is a pin in there. and you dont have the means to wire the vtec into the original harness. then cut the wire and run it direct to your vtec solenoid.. but you have to attach teh vtec pressure switch to and ground that also.

clip that wire in b19 and run that to the knock sensor. it is originally used for the ELD electronic load detector
