Another "My car got broken into" thread.... but with a TWIST!
There is a long back story behind this but I'll try to sum it up quick. Basically, about 8 months ago I spun a rod bearing in my car and had trouble getting enough money to fix it. Eventually got enough money but then there were oil leaks and water leaks out the *** from sitting around for 5 months without being started. So the car has been sitting for the last couple weeks.
So this morning I go out to check on the car, start it up so I don't dry out any more seals/gaskets. And to my surprise, my driver side door is open a little bit. I think to myself, "I KNOW I closed the door and locked it last time I was in here." So I open the door and sure enough my glove box was wide open and the plastic case for my stereo face plate was sitting on the passenger seat. So now I'm pretty pissed, this is the 3rd time my car has been broken into in the last 2 years. (the other 2 were within months of each other last year)
But then I take a look around and remember, there was NOTHING in this car to be stolen. The stereo face plate is in my room, the burned CDs I had made were still in the glove box, and my cheap *** jumper cables were still in the back seat. THEY DIDN'T STEAL ANYTHING BECAUASE THERE WAS NOTHING TO STEAL!!!!!!! I started to laugh my *** off.
So the moral of the story is, take everything you can out of your car before you leave it for the night. I hope others get as much of a kick out of this as I did.

really just depends on the race, but i've talked to alot of people in the socal area and they said mexicans were the ones stealing there car parts...well the ones they caught at least. No offense to mexican...but you didn't let me finish yet, up north like in the Fresno,Merced,Stockton, and Sac area is all asian people stealing cars... (i am asian myself) haha im guessing it depends on the area.

My last civic was broken into 3 times. The third time there was absolutely nothing for them to steal so they threw the broken window glass all over my hood. First thing I bought my my current civic was an alarm.
seriously, they do know they are breaking into a Civic, don't they? Everyone knows you have to steal the whole car to make it worthwhile
. Its not like you're going to find $100 bills in the glove box or something. Stupid fcks
