Default Eagle Rods

I just picked up a set of forged eagle h beams for my mild build. Anyway the rods are not numbered or say which way faces wut ? Obviously you keep the rod cap on the same way it came but does it face the side of the block facing the front of the car or the rear ? Theres numbers and letters on rod sides of the caps.

Also the rods dont look like they have any type of hole for oiling which is wierd the only thing on the inside of them is the little place for the bearings to snap in.

The bearing notches go towards the front or exhaust side of the motor.

Does it matter which rod i use for each cylinder ? Because i know on some chevy motors ive done they were numbered on the cap.

No. You just need to have your bearing clearances measured on each rod and select the appropriate bearing accordingly.

Ok. And lastly do most honda rods have an oiling oil around where the bearing would sit....i see the holes up by the pin but dont see anything by the cap.

The oil goes from the crankshaft to the rod bearing.

In the honda manual for stock rods it says to have the numbering on the rod itself facing the front (timing belt side) of the motor. But with these the numbering cast into it face the flywheel side if u have the notches facing towards the front of the block. Idk if its just eagle using a different way than honda or what.

The numbering doesn't matter on an aftermarket rod man, just face the notches fwd like B19 coupe stated and you will be fine.

The manual was written with the installation of Honda OEM parts in mind

ok....so you just make sure the notches face the front (front of the car after the block is installed) and which cylinder each goes in doesnt matter . Correct ?

when you guys say bearing notches, or the bearing tangs face the exhaust side, I'm looking at my helms now. Do you mean the little hole on the top bearing (piston side) that has a hole face the exhaust side? According to helms, it says it faces the oil filter side. can someone clarify this for me.
