how much you want to spend, performance etc....
many here have their own option on what they like as do i
i will suggest what i have personally ran on my S unlike how many just repeat what they read...
i have ran
DUNlop FM901
Re050's
Sumitomo htrz II
Federal 595 SS
by far my fav is the Federal 595 SS and im pretty happy with the sumitomo's so i would say the re050's and sumitomos are dead even right now

i ran through 2 sets of the BS so2's and then i went to hankooks rsz for the price.....
the hankooks were pretty good, but the side walls are a little soft.....
i run about 10-15 autox a year.....
if price is not a constraint, i would go w/ the bs so2's

I'm currently running Yokohama AVS Es 100s on mine. As far as a street tire they are great, I have yet to take the car to a track day, but I have a feeling they won't be as suitable for that as I would like. But on the upside they are cheap. Like 80 bucks per tire.
