A part's only worth what SOMEONE's willing to pay... Meaning, the price may sound ridiculously high to some of us, but to someone else, it might sound like a good deal.

Ask whatever you like, I'd recommend window shopping around on some of the swap sites, and figure out what they're asking for a similar swap.

a little high for me... try closer to 5k or 5.5k at the very, very most

i just sold 2 swaps and it took me 2 months to sell them too at rock bottom prices

my 1998 usdm itr swap sold for 3200 (it does have higher miles)
my 2000 jdm itr swap sold for 3500 (got it from hmo with jdm miles)

most people with 6k would rather spend it on a k20, so gl getting 6k

I agree, 6k is ridiculous. I can get a 98+ JDM front clip for that price.. Its possible to find a sucker but you'll be waiting a while. The mileage is "supposedly" more than you would get with a JDM swap, and the new tranny is still the 4.4.

However with a brand new tranny the price isn't unfair at all.... but like stated above... K20A.... you can't expletive with that price, you're gonna have to go in the low 5's and take a loss.

I could have spent less than that on a new C5 block and tranny from Baranco Acura. Granted it would not have everything needed for the swap, but everything would be new. Good luck selling, I doubt you'll get anywhere near that price.

For that price I'd get the Euro R H22A swap, and some fancy JDM cams, valvesprings and retainers. Oh wait, I just did.

I'm with the other guys. Good luck. Compare your prices to hmotorsonline and see what you really think. (A brand new tranny is going to be hard to sell for what it's really worth.)
