Im thinking bout getting the K&N drop in filter just for meanwhile. What yall think?? Oh yea and should I still leav the cap on??

without the air box lid you are sucking in hot **** air, i make a long **** post with differe data with it. in short, leave it on.

snorkel-a tube if you will, that directs flow from the opening in the bumper, to the air box.

Yea snorkel, for your car, not the water breathing one.

 

i have a K&N one that came with the car. I was thinkin of grabbin a Spoon drop in. Reminds me that i need to clean that thing

 

what would be better the spoon air duct or the js cooling plate

 

is there any hood cutting involved with the spoon snork?

 

I have a drop in K&N and like it.

I found this one on ebay for $50--buy it now, I wonder how the fit\quality is. Has anyone heard anything about them?

 

not to sure id go with an Ebay specail for my S2.......but to each's own

 

Trust me I'm no fan of the ebay special by any means but the snorkel is a relatively basic part that with good fit and sturdiness can be a good buy.

 

That is true.......we need someone to buy one and test fit....whats it made out of anyways?

But i have a free Vision one and its not a Spoon one...so maybe thats it. **** buts it free haha

 

you probably won't feel/hear any big differences. just get a aem or injen intake and replace the entire intake system.
