cams!

is it required to use after market cam gears with after market cams

no, but you will want them on the dyno.

Is that just for adjustable purposes?

i do plan on takeing it to the dyno so i need them

yes. They allow you to adjust valve overlap, essentially allowing you to dial in the cams.

yes you will still need them. Hondata can't adjust that.
