it puts a higher voltage on the primary side of you ign coil thus creating a larger spark from the secondary side. and it has an ign rev limit.

ive got it on my car , it seemed slightly "peppier" i guess you could say. i bought mine though so i could use msd's timing retard box as well for my nitrous setup.
