If you already had an H23vtec in there then there should be nothing to rewire. Swap the longblock and call it a day

do i have to keep the H23 ecu? the motor i got came with a H22 ecu. would that screw up the way the motor runs? i see that there is an extra plug for the wire harness in the H22 ecu...i didnt do the head swap so i dont know what this fruit loop did to the wires. i got the car that way.
well the story is that i got the car from out of state. great shape. had this head swap done already. got it for the shape of the body. the kid said the water jacket was blown in the block. was planning on getting an H22 for it. now im finding this is not as easy as i thought it would be.
one more question...the wires are on the other side of the motor...guess cuz its a JDM motor...so the wires dont reach...do i cut and extend the wires or is there a better way to do this.
