Default Supertech retainers

Ok i just bought some supertech retainers and on the bag it says:

WARNING: The Honda retainers are to be used with 7 degree keepers previous to 2004 (without the top arrow marks).

Can i use my stock keepers or no ? Its in a 98 h22a4

i think you can, thats wierd i dont recall a note saying that with my supertech valvetrain. I (valves, springs, and retainers) installed on my 99 h22a4 motor no problems for good year now
