Default Hood/wiper problem

For some reason my wipers are sitting too low and whenever I close the hood, it would close on the passenger wiper, like the arm of it.

Does anyone know what I have to do to fix this?

I'm getting a new hood in a few days and I don't want to hit and start rusting cause of this problem. (Which is what happened to my current hood)

Thanks in advance!

The wiper arms are bolted to the car using 14mm nuts. Just open your hood and remove the nut on each wiper arm. Then move them up on the windshield about an inch or two. You may have to push down on the "elbow" of the wiper arm, and lift up on the end that bolts to the car to release the tension so it will move. Just make sure you bolt them back down secuerly when you are finished. I've taken mine off/adjusted them many times because unless it's raining/winter I leave them off the car. Rain-X FTW! Hope that helps .

You live in Idaho and take the time to pull off your wipers when the weather is nice and put them back on when it turns? Haven't you ever been caught without them on when the weather turned bad?
