I was thinkin' about how the twenty or so scoobies I was with were all a bunch of wussies, because they wouldn't do it.... LOL

What were you doing with 20 Scoobies out there on the gravel roads? Looks like some kind of crazy rally meet deal you had going there!
Or was it just an off-the-road excursion type thing to see who would do it?

Lmao. Now you must of smoked a fat one... Cause you wont catch me doing that with my car. Maybe if it was a beater that i paid Like $200 for it. Did any water get in the car? You my friend are crazy!!!!
i paid two hundred bucks for my 89 SI rexer--no rust, no wheels, no motor. best $200 i ever spent. you won't ever catch me doing some redneck **** like floating a creek, i'll leave that to the chevrolet driving slack jawed yokels that live here in louisiana. haha
I drove my 84 accord through really deep water one time, and it was so deep it was pouring through the heater vents (I was about 17 and didn't care). I had to drive a total of about 40 yards. The car drove right through it, it was idling rough when I got out, but running. I had to go back and try to help a guy push his lifted ranger out. The water came up above my knees and I'm 6' 2" tall. I was so proud. I went for a second try and cracked the main seal (temp change I suppose). It was fun, and the car still runs to this day. It took about 2 days to get the carpet and seats dried out.
hehe.. Couple of things...
I only paid 400 bucks for the poor thing..
I'd already spun a bearing, so it wasn't like it could get any worse... LOL
No water got in the car, as a matter of fact, the rear end actually floated off the ground for a second...
That shot was taken at the creek behind "cooter's"
Finally, to all the people saying that they'd never do something like that with their cars, I offer this: A car is a tool. in the case of your average honda enthusiast, it is a tool to have fun in... Your fun might be sitting at a car show, with one of those feather dusters collecting tropies all day long.... MY fun is using my car to it's fullest, whether it means I'm schoolin' a couple subarus in the twisties going up skyline drive, killing cones at the local autocross, or just screwin' around in a field behind Cooter's.... It's all for fun....
