I don't know if their stats are reliable, but if it makes anywhere near the claimed 200 hp, that's a power gain of 50 hp.....f22b1 only makes ~150 hp stock. I'd just go for the H22 swap myself, and you could probably find one cheaper.

i dont have the lump sum to buy a H22 and i dont have the time or skill to put it in properly myself. What other things can I do to get more bang for the buck as far as performance from my F22B1

p.s. already have short ram and cat back...

well since you can't buy an H22a I assume that a turbo is also out of reach. As far as affordable mods beyond an intake and exhaust, you could get some adjustable cam gears, do weight reduction, or some performance suspension components. Or you could just go with nitrous.

yes the f20b does have 200hp . 145 tq (so says this site atleast http://www.hondaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=468) they also say its a 4k engine while the h22 is 2500.. h22 has same hp but 161 tq (again says so the site above) pretty sure if u can afford this one, u can afford a h22. Right? I say h22 b.c the more torque, but thats really only if u can find a h22 about the same price as this f20b. Belive the f22b1's are 145 hp with 147 tq. so u wont be losing but two pounds of tq if u go with f20b

parts arent easy to come by with the f20 for sure but theres alot of places that sell stuff online

you like the sound of nitrous? what the hell does it sound like? no it not street legal and the only way that it is legal is if its not hooked up to the engine...but you can always run a dummy system but some cops have learned to look for that. you dont have to build your engine to run nitrous but it you should

I dont literally like the sound of nos. I like the idea of having nos. lol. And yes Ive heard of fogger systems and whatnot that are hidden. But if there are no mods that you absolutely need to run nitorus then thats what I needed to know. Thanks.

The only thing you need for nitrous is essentially the nitrous system. I've seen some throttle body spacers with a nitrous injection port. Or you can do fogger. Or direct port injection. If it were me, I'd do the throttle body spacer so you can just uninstall it if you don't want nitrous anymore and you won't be able to tell. The stock engine can handle nitrous, but I would not recommend shooting anything over a 100 shot, I would even be hesitant to do that. I'd start with a 50 shot and maybe step up to 75 when you get comfortable with that.
On another note, I doubt the cops are going to bust you for having nitrous if you install the bottle in the trunk or elsewhere that it is not visible. The only dead giveaway would be if you flew by a cop with flames out your muffler. I doubt that would happen with a 50 shot unless you have it straight piped. Depending on what kind of nitrous system you want I'd expect to spend $350-$700.
