I just did a motor swap on my dx hatch, I put a MPFI Si motor in it, and mine through the code because I forgot to plug in one of the sensors, once I plugged it in the code went away. It was the two prong sensor thats under and to the right of the distributor. I didnt bother to research what that sensor was cuz the code was gone. But I know that sensor isnt the ECT sensor because the ECT is on the back of the block and the computer was flashing code 6 so go figure. Does your cooling fan come on? that should be a good starting point for your diagnosis
