Default s-s-s-s-s-s-s-haking

auto tranny, really high idlespeed(like 1.5) and the car vibrates pretty bad when in any gear except for park and neutral....

also my front suspension squeaks ( a lot) when i turn my steering wheel or when i go over a bump...

Well the suspension is probably blown struts.

Your shaking problem is the tranny. I'm running into the same problem with my auto.

Well, I'm 90% sure it's the tranny because mine has been sucking lately and the shaking has gotten worse. It could be the mounts.

Take my advice... never ever buy an automatic. Go find another prelude, make sure its a manual, and u wont have hardly any problems.
Automatic Tranny= Bad time/Bad choice/Big mistake.

if your auto takes a **** on you then just do a auto to manual swap. Promise it will be the best thing you have done to you car.
Hopefuly its just a motor mount.

when i shift into any gear, the car "jumps" really badly...i was told it was the monts, but i have yet to get it repaired...and the shaking isnt that bad when its warm, just some light rumbleing....alos theres some "hesitation" (when i hit the gas while the car is movin, theres a 1 second delay or so in response...)

i have been debating whether or not to swap to a MT, but its costly, and with that money plus what i can save, i can get a new car(not brand new, but newer)...i do love the prelude a lot, but even with the tranny eswap, it still needs ssome tlc. also ive heard of a lot of people that have problems after they get an manual swap...
