Default Gas it car delays response help!

I was driving home tonight. And I came to a red light. when the light turn green I gave it enough gas to get it going my car delay response like it was going to stale gave it a little more gas and the car basically pulse about half a sec increments meaning it would move for half sec rpm would go low then shoot up again .now if I go over 2000rpm the car feel like its going to stale even if it is not in gear with out a load. Could this be a fuel pump problem I just change that to an OEM about 6 mouths ago. And I change the ignition coil, distrbrurater, spark plug wires and spark plugs any help would be great I know CRX have common problems.

The first thing I would do is buy some fuel injection cleaner. Sounds to me like it might be some bad gas. Maybe try to go up alittle on your octane next time. My pickup does the same thing some times. The next step I would do is to check your fuel filter. These are cheap and easy to fix.

If doing both of these and the problem still isnt fixed then its something in your spark. The honda fuel pump almost NEVER go out. Ahh either way putting cleaner and replacing your fuel filter is always good things to do anyways. Good luck.

Well I figure out what it was. I went outside in the dark (no flash light couldn’t find it) just to take a look over the engine again (with the head lights on). I started the engine up open the hood. I started to rev the engine rpm’s high, and all of a sodden a long like 2in spark came out of my spark plug wires and went right in the middle of my battery where the acid is under the caps. I immediately turn the car off thinking that the battery might explode. I inspected the battery and there had been such a thin layer of acid on the top of the battery (not a puddle I mean thin like if you wipe water onto plastic with a dap rag) I dried this up with a paper towel cleaned the entire battery also check the acid levels they where fine. So I installed the battery back in the car. Turn the car on the pulse that it had been doing earlier had stopped the engine was not delaying anymore no spark from the wires. Took the car for a spin for 30min it ran fine. I just hope that this is the problem (As simple as it is). Thank you guys for all your replies I will take those into consideration if the pulsing comes back. But for now the car is running fine. (By the way I think I didn’t see this spark earlier because the sun was out) Thank you.
