I'm buying this Spoon SW388 By Desmonds but how do i make sure its REAL AUTHENTIC?

can anyone provide a list of how to identify a real and rota

so far my knowledge about it .....knowing that is....

-Approximately 8lbs each wheel (15's)
-Flat black
-Desmonds stamp stickers and specifications JIWA

***but as far as the image/looks goes... ****

is there any diffence from rota? please help i dont want to get jinkS!! by rota seller ! detail wise ...

im paying $1700 and that's no joke when it comes to wheels...

 

The sticker is the best give away. And typically, it's the only visual way you can tell them apart, without putting them side by side.

 

well if for some reason you cant see the "russia" stamp on the back of the hub, or desmond sticker, or you cant weight it (8.6lbs for 15x6.5) then get a rood picture of a rota slipstrem 15" and a good picture of a sw388/regamaster 15" same lug patter and look at details of the lips/extra holes by the bolt pattern

the color for sure. rota are a lil more glossy. spoon are real flat black. 45 off set

 

Um real Desmond SW88s arnt flat black they have a weird blueish tint to them!

 

You can totally tell by the color
