Default Need opinions on a possbile purchase

Hey guys, my friends brother has this car for sale, and i was thinking of picking it up for a project car.

Its a 95 Civic dx 5sp
205,000 miles
Needs new headgasket and possibly valves as it burns some oil
Has an aftermarket sunroof, but its not the best fit
The right rear end is damaged and has been bondoed (sp) might need to replace the whole quarter
other than a some minor scratches and dents and wear and tear, the body and interior is in great shape.
So im wondering, if its worth the 400 hes asking for it? It runs and drives good, or it did before the head gasket went out, and Im planning on doing a swap anyway. So what do you guys think? ? or ?

It depends on how much money you have to play with. $400 is reasonable, though. (Except, I would never want to replace the whole back quarter.. ugly situation.)

Don't worry about the engine problems if you're going to drop the engine.

got pics of the damage? Is the bondo done good and does everything line up? Any creaks or noices (besides the interior ****) while driving? If the body is straight and it just needs paint, 400 is good. But if he asking for 400 show up w/ 300 cash and play dumb

Hes sending pics right now. And no, the bondo is ****. The lights in back dont line up because of it, and its horrible and bubbly. I think the alignment might be off also, as the steering wheel is half off (as in its turned mostly right to go straight) and the drivers side window doesnt roll down.

unless it has good parts on it that you could sell or use in a shell, i wouldn't bother.
